Control Risk Launches New Flagship Publication
Control Risk, a specialist risk consultancy headquartered in London, has launched RiskMap, a new publication designed to showcase the geographical range and sophistication of the company’s risk analysis. In the opening issue, Control Risk explores a number of broad trends it says will determine the shape of the world in 2006 and beyond, including:
- The state of the world in 2006, looking at echoes from the 1970s and 1980s
- Emerging trends in the aftermath of the London bombs, including how risks will develop and how the war on terror is progressing.
- An examination of China’s economy and military might, including the opinion that with social and economic troubles ahead and a military whose power does not equate to its huge size, China is still some way from becoming the next superpower.
- How efforts to combat corruption overseas have progressed since the 1970s
