The Central Illinois Chapters of ASIS (formerly American
Society for Industrial Security) and ACP (Association of Contingency
Planners) will be conducting their annual seminar later this year.
ASIS International, with more than 33,000 members,
is the preeminent international organization for professionals responsible
for security, including managers and directors of security. In addition,
corporate executives and other management personnel, as well as
consultants, architects, attorneys, and federal, state, and local
law enforcement, are becoming involved with ASIS to better understand
the constant changes in security issues and solutions.
ACP is trade association dedicated to fostering continued
professional growth and development in effective Contingency & Business
Resumption Planning. ACP is the recognized premier international
networking and information exchange organization in the business
continuity industry.
This year's seminar will be held on Thursday October
7th 2004. The location of the seminar will be in Bloomington, IL
at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center. The theme will be on
Homeland Security with a focus on Critical Infrastructure Protection.
The Department of Homeland Security's document "National Strategy
for the Physical Protection of Critical Infrastructures and Key
Assets" identifies multiple critical infrastructures such as food,
agriculture, water, public health, emergency services, telecommunications,
energy, transportation, banking and finance, postal and shipping.

At this time we are issuing a call for sponsors and
would like to offer your company the opportunity to participate
in the seminar. As in previous years, we are offering various levels
of sponsorship including breakfast, lunch and break sponsors as
well as table sponsors. All of these sponsorships include the option
of exhibiting your company's products at a display booth as well
placement of the company logo and other information in the seminar's
participant binder. If you do not wish to exhibit at the seminar
but would still like to participate we are also accepting door prizes
that can be raffled off in you company's name.
