Professional Experience
Dr. Agnes Huff has over 25 years experience in public relations, marketing communications, crisis management and strategic counseling. As President and CEO of Agnes Huff Communications Group, LLC (AHCG), the firm specializes in strategic communications programs and has served clients in a variety of high profile industries including ABM Industries, Inc., Bahamasair, Best Western Hotels, British Airways, FedEx, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Los Angeles World Airports, Philips Semiconductor, Princess Cruises, Singapore Airlines, Qantas Airways, Qatar Airways, Xerox Corporation, VCA Antech, Inc. and World Airways among others.

As a crisis management expert and therapist, Dr. Huff has planned and executed strategic crisis management programs for various international clients, including EVA and Singapore Airlines. As a consultant to Singapore Airlines, she developed a comprehensive Crisis Management Program, prepared and trained personnel and tested the plan. As the culmination of the crisis planning and training, on behalf of the airline, Dr. Huff conducted a full-scale disaster simulation with 25 local and federal agencies and over 300 volunteers to test the airline and airport accident response plan.

Dr. Huff is frequently interviewed as a public relations and crisis management expert by CNN, ABC World News Tonight, USA Today, KFWB-News 98 and the Wall Street Journal. She has instructed at USC in the Institute of Safety and Systems Management, Southern California Safety Institute, Public Relations Society of America and University of California Riverside Extension; she lectures internationally and is widely published.

AHCG's Crisis Management Center of Excellence provides consulting, crisis audits, plan development, testing and training services to local, national and international clients. With Dr. Huff's expertise in transportation, the firm is often enlisted by transportation companies to develop Family Assistance Plans, deliver the required training and provides 24-hour on-call crisis consultancy to assist clients in the event of a crisis, real or perceived. Additionally, AHCG provides media training and coaching at all levels of the organization, helping clients survive any crisis with reputations intact.

Previously, Dr. Huff was Director of Corporate Communications for US Airways and served as spokesperson during three major accidents. As a therapist and Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, she has instituted critical incident stress debriefings after major disasters for employees and victims.

Dr. Huff has a Master of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University and pursued doctoral studies at Saybrook Institute. She earned her Ph.D. in 1986 from Columbia Pacific University and is a licensed MFT in California. She is a member of numerous professional organizations including ISASI, PRSA, WICI, PCLA, ACP, BICEPP and serves on the Board of Directors of the Aero Club of Southern California, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Airport Marina Counseling Center.
