Dr. Saracco has over twenty-five years experience in human resource and organizational development and strategic business continuity planning in manufacturing, health care, and government organizations as a manager and consultant. His background includes the design and delivery of corporate education and training programs and facilitation of organizational change and process improvement as well as the development of comprehensive business continuity programs. In addition, he is an adjunct faculty member for a state university and a private business school.

Dr. Saracco holds a Bachelors degree in Education, a Masters degree in Counseling, and a Doctorate in Human Performance at Work. Don's experience and accomplishments include numerous management and organizational development projects resulting in performance and productivity improvements at individual, team, department, and company levels. He has specialized in working with teams that must perform outside the normal organizational structure. In addition, he has direct experience in Business Continuity Program development and maintenance.

• Designed and delivered numerous custom designed corporate education and training programs including a comprehensive management development program for a Fortune 500 consumer products firm.
• Designed and facilitated strategic planning meetings at the corporation and divisional levels of an international manufacturing company.
• Led organizational change processes involving the implementation of teams and the application of cross-functional process improvement.
• Led the implementation of a quality improvement process for a multi-state network of emergency medical services companies.
• Managed the internal training and organizational development function for one of the world’s largest toy manufacturers.
• Provided data collection and analysis as well as intervention design and implementation to solve performance problems in a number of organizational settings. Served as coach for managers and supervisors at all levels of client organizations.
• Presented papers for local, national, and international organizations on subjects related to human and organizational effectiveness.
• Conducted the Business Impact Analysis, developed plans for Business Continuity, trained Recovery Teams, and held simulated exercises for client organizations.

All aspects of human and organizational performance in the conduct of general business pursuits or in strategic contingency planning and management. The latter may include mitigation, response, recovery, and/or business resumption strategies. I am especially interested in the improvement of the performance of individuals and teams in contingency planning, disaster response and business recovery. Have peculiar experience in the area of public-private partnerships for mitigation and recovery planning with emphasis on the building of relationships across cultural barriers.
