Companies Collaborate on Security R&D

Several companies have banded together to find new ways to fight cybersecurity threats.

In an article on the Washington Business Journal website, Jeff Clabaugh says the new NextGen Cyber Innovation and Technology Center in Gaithersburg, Maryland is a place to focus on “improving early threat detection, protection and other counter measures to cyber threats,” says the article.

Several companies, including Lockheed Martin Corp., Cisco, Dell, HP, Intel, MacAfee, Microsoft, Schneider Electric, and others have all agreed to collaborate.
