Icom America Inc. Wins Bid with State of Colorado
Bellevue, WA - Icom America Inc. has won a bid to supply
more than 500 portable and handheld radios to the State
of Colorado. The initial purchase order, with a value
of $100,000, covers the entire Icom VHF and UHF mobile

Larry
Kalmis, Recipient of Contingency Planning & Management's
Hall of Fame Award, is Named BCI Chairman
Flanders, NJ - Larry Kalmis,
Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute (FBCI),
has recently been named Chairman of Business Continuity
Institute (BCI). The BCI is an international professional
certification body for business continuity based in
the United Kingdom. In his new role as Chairman, Larry
will focus on improving awareness of business continuity
management as a profession, promoting good practices
and standardized methodologies and advancing synergistic
relationships with related disciplines.
Larry is the recipient of
the prestigious US-based Contingency Planning and Management's
Hall of Fame 2003 Award in the Vendor Practitioner category.
Larry, a project executive with Virtual Corporation,
has been instrumental in the development of the Business
Continuity Maturity ModelSM (BCMM). "Over

Power Generation Introduces 300 kW CHP Module
Minneapolis,
MN - Cummins Power Generation has introduced a new 300
kW combined heat and power (CHP) module that produces
electricity and hot water from a single source of fuel
(natural gas). The self-contained unit includes a Cummins
300 kW lean-burn gas generator, exhaust gas and coolant
heat exchangers, and associated PowerCommandŽ and proprietary
remote monitoring system/CHP module controls. Modules
are available for either 50 Hz or 60Hz operation.

is ideal for any facility that has a simultaneous need
for electricity and hot water for space heating or industrial
