National Fire Protection Association
The mission of the international nonprofit NFPA is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by providing and advocating consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education. Natural Hazards Center
The mission of the Natural Hazards Center at the University of Colorado at Boulder is to advance and communicate knowledge on hazards mitigation and disaster preparedness, response, and recovery. Northeast States Emergency Consortium
The Northeast States Emergency Consortium (NESEC) is a not for profit all-hazards mitigation and emergency management organization, located in Wakefield, Massachusetts. NESEC is the only multi-hazard consortium of its kind in the country and is supported and funded by the Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). NESEC develops, promotes and coordinates "all-hazards" emergency management activities throughout the Northeast. This includes hazard risk evaluation and assessment, public awareness and education, hazard mitigation and information technology transfers. www.nesec.org
National Association of Catastrophe Adjusters
The National Association of Catastrophe Adjusters (NACA) was organized in 1976 by a group of highly qualified catastrophe adjusters. The association is dedicated to improving professional standards, insuring working relations with one another and promoting the general welfare of the individual members. International Facility Management Association
IFMA is the largest and most widely recognized professional association for facility management, supporting more than 18,500 members.
